Friends of Dr Williams's Library lecture in 2017

Forthcoming Events

The Friends of Dr Williams's Library lecture in 2017 is to be held on 19 October. Prof Diarmaid MacCulloch of St Cross College, Oxford, has agreed to speak on a theme related to the Reformation. As a historian Prof MacCulloch, Kt, FSA, FRHistS, FBA specialises in church history and the history of Christianity. He has chosen as his lecture’s title, ‘Thomas Cromwell’s Religion Revisited’. Given his popularity as a familiar speaker on television and radio, as well as his occasional forays into journalism, this promises to be very well attended. All those interested are advised to make a special note in their diaries.
