Dr Williams's Library is a renowned library specialising in English religious dissent. The library was founded as a bequest of Dr Daniel Williams, based on his own collection. Since the early eighteentn-century generous individual donors have enabled the library to develop.

We are grateful for the continuous support we receive through kind gifts made to the library. Our aim in 2016 is to begin to make our collections much more accessible through our website.

We want our collections to continue to be available for future generations and realise, therefore, how vital it is to preserve the rare materials in our care. In order to look after our rare books and manuscripts, to the highest possible standards, we need your help and support.
