L’Expérience puritaine. Vies et récits de dissidents (Dissenting archives: sources and methods).

Lecture

This seminar session will present in English L’Expérience puritaine. Vies et récits de dissidents, a monograph based on seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century Dissenting Church records. It will explore the ways those documents can open up new channels in early modern Dissenting studies with a particular focus on conversion narratives, ecclesiastical discipline and the sociology of Dissent.
